#14 Alan Peter Cayetano

Alan Peter Schramm Cayetano (born on October 28, 1970 in Mandaluyong City) is a politician and one-time diplomat. He is the current Taguig-Pateros representative, serving until June 30, 2022.

During his current congressional term, Cayetano became House Speaker until his resignation in October 2020. Cayetano served as the foreign affairs secretary in the Duterte Cabinet from 2017 to 2018.

The congressman seeks a Senate comeback, having served in the higher chamber from 2007 to 2017. He climbed his way up the political ladder through his service as Taguig councilor and vice mayor from 1992 to 1998. He was Taguig-Pateros representative from 1998 to 2007.
